One response to “KING JAMES ONLY? Thoughts from Biblical Linguistic Scholar Dr. Michael Heiser

  1. This is a common complaint-that the KJV is harder to understand. I read the NKJV but when I have a question I reach for my KJV.

KJVOnlyists want to say that God is well able to preserve His Word (using Psalm 12:6-7 as proof) yet they want to call the new versions, even my NKJV, New Age perversions. I guess they don’t believe their own rhetoric…? Yes, there are bad versions but to say ALL versions beyond the KJV are bad is really telling-is it the KJV or is it an agenda that is being defended?
