Doesn’t Romans 14:5-6 allow Christians to celebrate Christmas?

Didn’t the Jews in the days of queen Esther set up a holy day not authorized in the law of Moses? Doesn’t that example allow the church to set up a holy day (e.g., Christmas) not authorized in the Bible?

There is no question that Christmas has no place in the public worship of God, but isn’t it okay to celebrate it privately in the home?

We do not celebrate Christmas. For us the day is just a secular family day. What could be wrong with that?
