The Traditions of Man

From the article: The Christmas Story You Don’t Want to Hear

The traditions of man have seduced the masses away into worshipping idols for thousands of years. The deception is in the attempt at mixing different faiths as a means of worshipping God with the practices and traditions of pagan origin.

Take care lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them – Deuteronomy 11:16

No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. – 1 Corinthians 10:20-21

The traditions of men hinder obedience to God from worshipping Him in spirit and truth. Many attempt to worship Him in spirit, but completely miss the truth part.

You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said: ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’” – Matthew 15:7-9

Man’s traditions have exalted themselves above God’s ways. We cannot put Christ back into Christmas because He was never there in the first place.

Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness – 1 Timothy 4:7

…All the good intentions and sincerity towards Jesus Christ personified through the events, dates and symbolism of Christmas is spiritual adultery.

If I was cheating on my wife and thinking about her while I was doing it, it does not make it right. In the same way, if I am thinking about Jesus Christ while using pagan events, dates and symbols of Christmas does not make it right either.

We are to worship Jesus Christ in spirit and truth. Everything about Christmas is a golden calf and has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus Christ.

Let me repeat this important biblical statement from the article:

…All the good intentions and sincerity towards Jesus Christ personified through the events, dates and symbolism of Christmas is spiritual adultery.
